Sustainable innovation for more responsible formwork!

We are proud to announce that our subsidiary, Atlas Foundations, has successfully tested and validated a new natural formwork technique for secant piles.

An ecological alternative to traditional formwork

Secant pile walls are essential foundation structures, formed by an alignment of vertical piles creating a retaining wall. Their installation relies on concrete guide walls built around cylinders known as lost formworks.

Until now, these formworks were mainly made of polystyrene, a material that is not environmentally friendly and challenging to handle on-site. Today, we are changing the game with a natural, efficient, and eco-friendly solution.

The advantages of this new technique

This natural formwork is revolutionizing our working methods by delivering tangible benefits:

  • An eco-friendly solution: A non-polluting material that reduces our environmental impact.

  • A cleaner worksite: Eliminates polystyrene particles scattered in the soil.

  • Time savings: Faster and simplified implementation.

  • Less waste: Optimized space usage with no need for dedicated containers.

  • Enhanced safety: An intuitive color-coding system differentiates primary and secondary piles, reducing the risk of errors.

A commitment to more responsible construction

With this innovation, the group once again demonstrates its commitment to sustainable and high-performance practices. By integrating environmentally friendly solutions, we are helping to build a future where efficiency and responsibility go hand in hand.
