Footbridge "l'Enjambée"

Working on both sides of the river
Retaining walls for two deep excavations have been realized to be used as foundations for the new foot and cycling bridge over the river Meuse.

Technical specifications

Secant pile wall

Working on both sides of the river

We managed to finish this project ahead of time, thanks to the use of 2 machines at the same time, one on each side of the river.

The second machine came "flying" one night from the other work site we had at the same place and time : the Grognon-Confluence project.

At some point, three of our rigs were piling the soil of the river banks together!

Foundations for "l'Enjambée"

In this project, Franki Foundations realized retaining walls for two deep excavations, one on each side of the river, to be used as bases for the coming foot and cycling bridge.

The deep excavations will be filled with concrete and reinforcement, and are located right under the stairs that will bring pedestrians up and down the bridge.

The bridge should be put in place mid-July 2018.
